Using only the best ingredients nature has to offer, our products are made in small batches to ensure each product meets the standard and quality that our customers deserve.
Enjoy a variety of goods and gifts from our all-natural product lines. The Wholesome Honey Pot (TWHP) products are carefully formulated and handcrafted with loving intentions. All ingredients are provided graciously by Mother-Earth and we ensure these gifts are ethically sourced. We only use sustainable, eco-friendly, biodynamic, and cruelty-free ingredients.
Essential oil safety guidelines are strictly followed and detailed information (and contraindications) can be found on a variety of our products. You can actually pronounce everything on our ingredient lists! Absolutely NO harmful chemicals, preservatives, SLS, sulphates, parabens, synthetics, or 'natural' fragrances are used in our products.
TWHP is proud to create “Handcrafted in Canada.” products. We strive to source materials within Canada and collaborate with other Canadian small businesses to keep our products as close to home as possible.
From creation to finished product, we make every effort to reduce as much landfill waste as possible. We re-use and recycle everything we possibly can during the production phase and in our daily operations. Our end product packaging and shipping material can be re-used (upcycled), recycled, or composted. All end products are biodegradable and residual products can also be placed in organic waste.
As with all TWHP products, our goal is to not only provide a high-quality plant-based product but also bring greater consumer awareness of what true, natural ingredients are and which ones are safe. Just because it's natural doesn't always mean it's something we should use.

Meet the maker!
Hello Everyone, my name is Desirae (Des).
I created The Wholesome Honey Pot in 2020 as a way to share my interest and love towards natural medicine, and doing my part in caring for this world. I was driven to start TWHP when I wanted to learn how to take better care of my health - inside and out.
In 2017, I truly discovered the power of natural healing as I was dealing with severe food intolerances that were affecting my mental and physical health. I started by changing my diet and cutting out unnecessary ingredients including gluten, refined sugars, artificial ingredients and colorings. The results were remarkable! Not only did my physical health improve, but my mental health improved significantly as well!! That is when I realized that there was something to this “natural stuff”…
I spent the next years learning about natural remedies, botanical benefits and traditional apothecary using plants found in Canada and around the world, and realized that I wanted to dive in deeper. I started making natural teas, and botanical ointments to help ease my ailments and dove into the world of all-natural products that fit into my lifestyle and beliefs. In 2020, I graduated college as a Conservation Biology Technologist and had an epiphany.. Why not use my knowledge of plants to create all-natural products that everyone could enjoy? I started experimenting more with botanical extracts and pure essential oils to achieve a desired affect and I continued to fall in love with the idea of sharing my knowledge with those I love. That is when I decided to make my dream a reality and soon after, TWHP was born.
I took my knowledge of plants and my experience as a Conservation Biologist to create an all-natural, sustainable line of products that would not only benefit people, but help protect the world around us. My goal was to use only the best ingredients that nature has to offer and reduce my carbon footprint in order to live harmonious with nature. TWHP has allowed me to express my passion and has helped me connect with the world around me in a way that was previously unthinkable to me.
I am continuously grateful for the love and support I have received from everyone who has helped keep this dream alive and allowed me to grow through this experience.

I (21F) found The Wholesome Honey Pot at a local Christmas market, and bought both their Purify and Cooling facial tonics as an impulse buy, because they were on sale. I didn’t have very high expectations, because nothing I’ve found has ever made much of a difference on my combination, comedonal acne prone skin, and was just looking for a face spray to bring my oiliness down throughout the day, and decided on this as I have a lot of sensitivities to chemicals. These didn’t work the way that I had hoped, as they displaced my makeup, so I figured I might as well try them as a toner as I didn’t want them to go to waste, and I cannot believe the results I’ve gotten so far. I decided to mix the two to get all of the benefits, and although I’ve only been using the mixture for a month, I cannot believe the results. I have insanely stubborn comedonal acne (mostly blackheads), and I’ve tried over a dozen toners, not to mention the insane amount of treatments/cleansers/moisturizers (all ranging in price from $10-$65), and NOTHING has cleared my skin the way this has, not to mention how bright and glowy my skin has become! I get very oily skin on my nose and cheeks, while the rest of my skin is dry and quite often irritated, and this mixture has made an insane improvement on both. I’m honestly shocked at how amazing this is, they have literally become my holy grail products, and as long as they continue making them, I will NEVER buy another toner! How I mix the toner; In a 1oz travel bottle, I fill the bottle 3/5 of the way with pure Witch Hazel, then add 1/5th of both the Purify and Cooling Tonic, then shake before each application.
